Recycle Bin
When an article has been deleted from the site rather then being deleted permanently it is placed in a recycle bin which can be accessed via Admin | Publishing | Recycle bin. |

The Recycle bin allows a user to restore an article as well as see who deleted it and when, you also have the ability to delete an article permanently.
